Fort Bend Christian Academy
The Brand Evolution of a Divine Idea
How Fort Bend Christian Academy Transformed from a One-Teacher Church School into One of Houston’s Most Consistently Branded Private Christian Academies
A Spark of Inspiration
From Humble Beginnings
In 1987, a small Baptist church in Sugarland, Texas, embraced a bold vision: to start a church school where children would receive a traditional curriculum infused with Christian values. With just one teacher and seven kindergarten students, Sugar Creek Baptist Church School embarked on its journey.
The Evolution of a Mission
Over the next 19 years, the school evolved. First renamed Fort Bend Baptist Academy and later transitioning to Fort Bend Christian Academy, the institution expanded its infrastructure, adding campus buildings and athletic complexes to its sprawling 35-acre site. Throughout each transformation, the school maintained a strong focus on academic excellence and inspirational leadership.
The Power of Integrated Branding
A Tradition of Brand Consciousness
For over 30 years, Fort Bend Christian Academy has been synonymous with consistent, thoughtful branding. Today, the campus stands as a shining example of integrated branding—a visual narrative that reinforces the school’s mission and values.
Visionary Leadership in Action
Kelly Carroll, the Athletic Director at Fort Bend Christian Academy, is a woman with a vision. Determined to weave the school’s brand seamlessly throughout the campus, Kelly set out to update the branding at key athletic facilities. “Our goal was to integrate the textual and visual elements of the FBCA brand so that every corner of our campus tells our story. We’re excited about the dramatic transformation that these branded graphics bring to our environment.”
Revitalizing Athletic Facilities
Baseball Stadium and Soccer Field:
Kelly’s first step was to rebrand the baseball stadium and soccer field. She partnered with Sullivan360, a leader in campus branding, to manage the design, creative process, fabrication, and installation of both printed and non-printed screen panels.
The project featured:
Printed outfield fence screens
Dugout backs
Bleacher wraps and backs
Custom walkway graphics
Kelly noted, “The updated branding at the baseball and softball field is an impressive addition to our sports complex. It’s amazing how transformative these graphics can be.”
Softball Complex:
Continuing her vision, Kelly then tackled the softball complex. Sullivan360 again delivered comprehensive design and installation services that included:
Bleacher wraps
Dugout wraps
Entry ramps
Outfield screens and graphics
Foul line screens
“The consistency of the graphics and screen elements ties everything together,” Kelly remarked. “The stadium re-branding has made a huge impact on our campus.”
Football Stadium:
Not stopping there, Kelly extended the rebranding to the highly visible football stadium. Sullivan360 handled every aspect—from design to fabrication and installation—covering:
Bleacher wraps, tops, backs, and bottoms
Entry and ramp screens
Track and storage screens
Beyond the Playing Field
Branding the Interior
With the sports facilities reimagined, Kelly turned her attention to the interior spaces. The first internal campus branding project saw the design and installation of wall murals and mission statement graphics along the main corridor of the academic building. These wall graphics not only add visual depth but also serve as a lasting reminder of the school’s mission, values, and traditions.
A Testament to Vision and Excellence
Fort Bend Christian Academy now stands as a beacon of educational and inspirational excellence—a place where academic achievement meets a rich, visually engaging environment. The comprehensive branding projects, spearheaded by Kelly Carroll and executed by Sullivan360, have elevated the campus to a level typically seen in professional stadiums and top-rated universities.
Schools like Fort Bend Christian Academy, and leaders like Kelly Carroll, are charting the future of integrated campus branding.
